2009 Mallards Night a Success
The Transplant House would like to thank all of the fans that came out to the ballpark on July 7th for Restoring Hope Fundraiser Night with the Madison Mallards. The Mallards were once again kind enough to let the Transplant House set a table up at the entrance to greet fans with the help of volunteers and Dottie Dot. It was also a great moment to have cancer survivor Kurt Saupe and his family in attendance. Kurt tossed out the ceremonial first pitch on behalf of the Transplant House...and delivered a strike right over the plate. During the game, the players and coaches were gracious enough to wear "Donate Life" bracelets as well on what proved to be a great evening to promote transplant related causes and to enjoy some entertaining Mallards baseball. Thank you all!
