Art on the Avenue Event Supports RHTH

Middleton's first "Art on the Avenue" event was a great success and Restoring Hope Transplant House was honored to be involved in this fun community-minded evening. The event featured a night of artist receptions and live music at 11 locations in the 6600 to 6900 blocks of University Ave. Painting, sculpture, fiber art, wood, ceramics, photography, and fantasy hair design by artists Deb Menz, Demetra Saloutos, Tonya Tubbs, Michelle Olson, Lynn La Luzerne, Elizabeth Solomon, Leona and Linus Rauls, Sally Holl, Tia Marshall, Mary Ellen Sisulak, Todd Leech, Stephanie Craig, Mark Bunge, Debra Bushy, Maron Massey-Collins, Lauren McCann, Sarah Longfield, and Sarah Yeazel. Music by No Busfare Johnson, The Ranting Thespian, Greentone Acappella, Jackie Bradley, Axis, Femme Fatale, and High Tide. Locations include Headlines Salon, Sub Hero, Auntie Em's, Green Earth, Goodwill, Pizza Hut, Hampton Court Salon, Middleton Art & Frame, La Bella Vita, and Bindley Collection Gallery.

A portion of sales from "Art on the Avenue" was donated to support Restoring Hope Transplant House. We're grateful for all of the hard work that went into making this event possible and thankful for the support that has been shown by everyone involved. Middleton truly is the "Good Neighbor City".
