Middleton Lions “Roar” for the Restoring Hope Transplant House

Fundraiser at Capital Brewery to benefit the “Home Away From Home” for patients in the greater Madison Area

Middleton – The Middleton Lions Club will hold a benefit event for the Restoring Hope Transplant House on July 10th at Capital Brewery from 1:00pm to 4:00PM. All money raised will go towards a house in Middleton that will offer high quality, affordable accommodations for transplant patients and their adult family members/caregivers.

Gilda’s Glee Club will perform from 1:00PM till 2:00PM and DJ JP will spin records from after that until 4:00PM. The Lion’s Club will also hold a drawing for a fantastic trip to Vegas for Badger Fans! Winners will receive round-trip airfare from Madison to Vegas, a 4-night stay at the Flamingo right on The Strip, 50-Yard-Line seats at the Badgers versus UNLV game on September 4th and $500.00 spending cash!

The Restoring Hope Transplant House hopes to raise additional funds to open its doors for patients who are in the Madison area for organ, bone marrow or other transplants. The current house has 10 bedrooms with community bathrooms, and much of the rest of the house is in disrepair. Renovation plans provide 16 bedrooms - each with their own bath, a completely remodeled kitchen, expanded community areas and a HEPA air filtration system.
