The UW Health Organ Procurement Organization is pleased to announce that in 2008 more people than ever in Wisconsin made the decision to donate their organs, helping the UW Health OPO reach a new milestone: 137 organ donors. These donors, through their beautiful gifts of life, made 541 organs available for transplantation in 2008.The photo above features many of the physicians and staff of the UW Health OPO at a recent event held at Restoring Hope Transplant House.
